Work Begins on The Palazzo:                                 12/2009

Southern Living Custom Builder Member for the Louisville, Kentucky area, Stonecroft Homes, began their home this month that will be featured at the May 2010 Norton Commons Spring Home Tour.  Stonecroft Homes has named their Southern Living Showcase Home “The Palazzo” as its architectural style is Italianate, one period style that Stonecroft has gained much attention for in Norton Commons.  The Palazzo will have a side courtyard that can be accessed from all the main living areas of the first floor.  At first glance you might recall a walk through the streets of Florence or a fall day at the Art Fair in the streets of St. James Court.  Being a SL Showcase Home, Stonecroft will incorporate materials from the sponsors of Southern Living.  Some of these include Lennox Heating and Air Conditioning, Pella Windows, Delta Faucets, and James Hardie Siding.  Check the SHOWCASE OF HOMES link to see progress of the home being constructed.

Stonecroft Homes: Year End Review 2008

December 28th , 2008

Despite the economic woes that it seems most all sectors are facing at this moment, especially the construction industry, there is some good news, or "light" from the Stonecroft Logo at the end of the tunnel. Stonecroft Homes is about to complete their best year in business with construction of over 25 homes in 2008. "It was a momentous year," says managing partner David Lutes. "Given all indications at the beginning of the year we had planned on building 8-10 homes. However, as time went on there were stretches of selling one to two per week. We almost doubled the number of homes we built in 2007."

"We have been blessed," says Project Manager Jimmy King. King says, "that while he was managing day-to-day field operations managing partners Jason (Black) and David were out pounding the pavement working every lead they had as well as managing construction activities.

Managing partner Jason Black says, "It's been a little bit of luck but also about giving the clients the best home for their money." "We've been very fortunate to weather the storm of 2008 and we are well positioned for another strong year in 2009."

Building homes starting in the mid 300's to over 3 million displays the capabilities of this homebuilder to manage a diverse portfolio of business. One client interviewed said it best. "Every home that Stonecroft builds shows like a million dollar home." Experience it yourself by calling Stonecroft Homes, 502-523-7041.
